Top 5 songs I can’t stop listening to

I love the Internet. Unlimited access to pretty much anything you want to listen to, any time you want to listen to it. And then, you can even tell people about it. Here’s what I can’t get out of my headphones lately:

5. Make Some Noise – The Beastie Boys
I first heard this song a couple months ago, when I was shown the music video. I would almost suggest watching this before playing the audio track. Or, if you have a lot of time on your hands, check out the full-length 30-minute version.

4. Up In Arms – Foo Fighters
I know this like, so 1997, but this song has recently made a grand re-entrance onto many of my playlists and I can’t stop listening to it. This could go for many, many Foo Fighters songs.

3. Bottom of the River – Delta Rae
Another song worthy of a video praise. Haunting but awesome!

2. Kill the DJ – Green Day
Green Day came out with a new album, “¡Uno!,” and I love it. Their sound stays consistant, and I love the reggae edge this particular song has got going on in the chorus. Check out the whole album; it rocks. But “Dookie” is still my favorite.

1. Hold on – Tim Armstrong
Off one of the best albums I’ve ever heard — “A Poet’s Life,” by Rancid singer, Tim Armstrong — this is probably my favorite track. It gives me one of those “throw all your worries away” type of feelings. You’ll definitely want to check out this retro/ B&W/ Graphic novel/ badass video, too.
